They've said "extensively modified", so I'd expect you'll have to do a little work if you want to implement some gameplay changes. On a completely pulled out of my ass semi-uneducated guess, I'd say it'll be about the same, maybe a little easier, as it was for TDS. Similar engine, similar structure, similar modifications.

TDS was an exception. In case of T4 I can't, of course, know how much EM have rewritten the engine, but, looking at the screenshots, I'd suppose that it wouldn't much. Why to rewrite the engine if it already does have (almost) everything they need? AFAIK, many cool features of UE3 were too heavy for 360&PS3 and therefore they have been blocked. As we all remember, in case of TDS, the situation was different.

I got called a troll for posting a thread asking about the possibility of fixes about a year before TDS came out.:D (http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=69105&)

The intervening years have given me faith in our modders eventhough my faith in EM is somewhat lacking at this point.

Wuh? Are you talking about DX:HR?

Yeah, they lived up to their promise, and did it. The PC version had an almost entirely different interface than the console versions. More akin to the original DX in style and execution.
