I must be missing something.. I've explored all the house past the chasm but I still can't find Hans. Is he there or somewhere else?

You been to the
attic?you can't just pop up there, you must explore it - specifically,
go to the attic window

Finished it, thanks very much eepcat - great fun. Loved the way the
bad guys kept burning themselves to death on the fires. Saved me the trouble of knocking them out.
I am in the
attic
I can
hear Hans whistling, I've been surprised a couple of times by him, now I'm moving very slowly and I really don't know how to kill him as I don't see him anywhere. been to the window but nothing happens
What am I supposed to do??????
BTW great mission!:thumb:

Walk over toward the little alcove with a window and Hans will find you! Be prepared though because he's not friendly.

When I enter the area with the skeletons (near lava) the quick save no longer functions. I get a BSOD / Send / Don't Send when I reload a quick save and sometimes when I save it. Shutting down and deleting the quick save file does not help. Quick saving when I am away from that area has worked so far, but I gather there is more to go.
EDIT: After that, it gets worse. All saves cause the game to crash after I venture beyond the skeletons. I guess the only way for me to finish it is to iron man the whole thing. The problem is, after I go a long way into it I encounter Hans. Without a nearby save, fighting him is a fairly hazardous activity. Is there any known fix to this problem?
If not, I am afraid I'll have to move on. :(

Ahhh Taff :( HUGE lag on this one, after I pass the 2 elevators. I thought I could get past it by reloading from an eairler one, and then going in, but no go. I want to kill Hans. Its just to laggy..

The game will be ultra choppy, but still playable. Barely.
Happened to me.

I wouldn't be surprised if the lag problem is related to my inablilty to save, described above. I think some data are being corrupted by a mission bug. About the same thing happened a while back with the last mission in Elevator T2. In that case, we got the lag and the saves started taking an extremely long time to complete.
I hope this bug can be fixed.
