Sad news indeed.

A close friend of mine for many years has gone through the same illness over roughly the same period as Zach. He died a few days after New Year.

My thoughts go out to Zach's family and friends.

We all get pulled into the dark star but he did it with grace and dignity. It's always a sad day for the world to lose a good man.

Wow. I only knew him from a couple of friendly back and forth posts on this site, but this just gave me a really good cry. That post destroyed me and built me back up all within a couple of paragraphs.

Fly high and enjoy the view, brother. Gone but never forgotten.

I got to know Z on Eidos - such a kind, caring and intelligent man. I found myself reading his blog on the Christian forum and it is a fascinating read. I encourage everyone to read his thoughts. One passage that struck me was his thoughts on the afterlife. He stated that he did not exist in the past and that since he was not around during the French Revolution for example, he may just cease to exist after this life. I found that interesting from someone who was so devout.

My thoughts are with Zacch and Tigrou and wish Zacch a taffin good time on his journey.
