I'm sorry to hear this, Zaccheus.
Take care, I hope you'll recover from this. Don't give up fighting!

As Zack is short for Zaccheus, I'll be using this Thief inspired avatar of one of my EVE Online characters on my (

https://image.eveonline.com/Character/1008368084_256.jpg"claims of benefits are not supported by well-controlled clinical trials", LOL, good luck treating God as a lab rat. :p
I kind of miss our threadnaughts, but I don't have time for one right now, still for old times sake here's just one more verse for you:
"And there were many lepers in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, but only Naaman the Syrian." (
http://bible.cc/luke/4-27.htm) Luke 4:27;
Medical miracles are rare events, but a good friend of mine personally witnessed one of them happening to his brother, so I am quite certain that they do occur from time to time. There is really no harm in asking nicely.

I do hope for the best for you -- no pain or suffering and that you put off the "dying stage" as long as possible
Thank you, that is appreciated. Perhaps we can still do that show you once suggested where they send us on holiday together and film the catastrophic results. :joke:

but I certainly ain't praying for you.
Too right. You would just be speaking into thin air if you don't think anyone is listening. :cheeky:

I, of course, wish you the best and as much comfort as is possible under the circumstances. But (faceously) are you sure you want to "dwell in the house of the LORD"? After all, it can get a bit boring sitting on a cloud with a lyre or harp when most of your friends will be carousing in the other place.

They do. They truly do.
Keep the hope, brother, and take care of yourself as well as possible.

Ha ha, clouds? I think your 'holiday bochure' is a little out of date. :p

Too true, it may be a little dated. On the other hand (does that mean a third one? I've often wondered) anything might be better than the paradise with 12 virgins ala the Muslim view.
As the story goes: "A young Muslim is drafted to be a human bomb. He was told that when he died he would be a hero and martyr and live forever in a beautiful garden paradise with balmy weather, all the creature comforts and 12 virgins at his disposal.
"He thought that a great afterlife situation and volunteered to blow himself up and 'kill the infidel'.
"So he trundled off, blew the bomb, himself and a busload of non-Muslims up.
"He became conscious in a beautiful garden. He was reclining comfortably on a pile of silken cushions on a magnificent Persian carpet; table laden with exotic foods and fruit and drink in in front of him.
"The weather was perfect. He was richly dressed and seemed in perfect health. He was sampling the food and quite happy.
"He looked around the garden and noticed that there were no females, but that there was group of 12 muscular men a few feet away eying him very strangely.
"He looked up to the sky and asked, 'Where are the virgins. I was promised an afterlife of comfort surrounded by 12 beautiful virgins. What gives?'
"A deep bass voice came from the sky: "Who said the virgins were female?"

Major Breakthrough!As of this morning, while standing with the frame, I can lift my right foot off the floor and move it forwards. As I can already do the same with my left foot, that means that
I can walk with the frame!
Holding myself up on the parallel bars during physiotherapy, I managed to walk the length of the parallel bars with just one short break. The physiotherapist said that she had not expected us to ever reach that level. Hallelujah!
:cool::cool::cool:
I've been walking 5 or 6 meters like that. :D

That is fantastic news!! I'm so happy for you! :D Now what does that really mean for you, and your prognosis. I do hope this means a brighter outlook for you, and you just keep going and going.......like that stupid rabbit we know.

You are definitely in my prayers. Hopefully the miracles will continue until you have fully recovered!
