You just want to know it right off the bat? Don't want to use Tannar's clues?:erm:
If you want the code I'll PM you.

I've PM'd cardia1 some code clues already, It should help him I hope... The code is really tough to find out, without a major clue.
MrMunkeepants on 27/2/2014 at 01:23
unfortunately, I think the safe code has defeated me as well :(
thanks to darthsLair and Tannar for the code and clues about the holy water!
I think there should have been subtitles, as the distortions on the voices made it very difficult to know what was going on :/
anyone else notice the haunt watching from the roof?

The kid's room is
not the room with the hole in the floor. It's at the other end of the long hallway and it's got some toys on the floor. Unfortunately, there is no real way to know the number of the apartment below, but we have some info that will help us guess. And "somehow related to my apartment" doesn't necessarily mean the apartment number. The diary tells us the following:
- The second number is the number of the devil = 6
- The third number is the second number of the apartment below yours. We know that yours is 34 and if you look through the hole in the wall in the room with the elevator, you will see that the apartment next to yours is 33. There appear to be only two apartments on each floor. And yours is the even-numbered one. So the apartment below yours is most likely to be...
- The first and fourth numbers are somehow related to your apartment. There are numbers written inside your apartment. Find them and try them. The 3rd number was not easy for an American. The numbering sceme for the rooms by floor may not be realistic for many people - including me.
Rooms are almost always numbered by floor, the number - so floor 4 will have rooms 401 through 4##. The 5th floor with have 50# to 5##, etc. How many people guessed the second number for the second floor room should be 2, as in the 2 below were 31 and 32?
Sounds like the author is from Firenza!!!! :joke: I mean respect with that comment. For those that have not been there, the numbers of houses are not in sequence from high to low or vice versa. You can have 200 right next to 23023, then the next house is 4. Fun when you are hammered, cannot speak Italian, and need to find your hotel! Istill want to go back :thumb: So, with that figured out, after a lot of guessing, I am done. Overall fun and some nice touches. It's just the lower floor # that will stump a lot of players in my estimation. Maybe it wil be easy for some that live in an area that has differnt numbering for rooms?
Cheers!

There's some really good music in this. The author mentioned that they made the metalp replacement sounds by themselves - can I use metalp4 (the reading sound) in an upcoming Dark Mod FM I'm making? Just PM me if I can.
Thanks!

Rooms are almost always numbered by floor, the number - so floor 4 will have rooms 401 through 4##. The 5th floor with have 50# to 5##, etc. You're right. And this is in no way an easy one to get on your own. But if you think about it, there aren't that many choices. Certainly there are few enough choices that you could try them all.
Given your numbering scheme above, it would make the most sense that the two apartments on the floor below would be 23 and 24. But that doesn't give you anything different than your own apartment number. The second number is still 4. But you could try 4 as the third number and see if it worked. If it didn't, you'd have to guess that it wasn't the right number. So if the apartments below are not 23 and 24, what is the next most logical numbers they could be? And so on ...

The code eludes me completely I'm afraid.
Good mission though.
