Does anyone have a working link for this mission? And maybe for the other 10 rooms contest missions "the cave artifact" and "hammered" aswell? None of the linked ones are working.

Just about every mission can be found on (
http://www.taffersparadise.co.uk/thief2missions.html) Taffers Paradise
Click on the banner at the top to sort missions in to alphabetical order, author names order, date order (you usually have to click twice).

Thanks fortuni. But does the link for "hammered" work for you? For me a page opens with "support services"

The link for "Hammered" on Taffer's Paradise does not work for me as well. I also get the page about support services. Seems to be a problem with the link.

Could it be the author made a huge mistake with the safe code? I came here for an outright spoiler that the safe code is 3626 I can understand all three numbers except the 3rd one.
The readable says "the 3rd number: the second numeral in his apartment number (his as in his neighbour mark) and his apartment number is 33.... so how come the third number in the safe code is 2?! :weird:

There are some posts scattered around in this thread concerning the code. The problem is that the numbering of rooms in houses seems to vary much between different countries, and the author was not aware of that.
It's as if you ask someone living on the northern hemisphere of the world: "Where are countries with cold climate?" The answer would probably be: "In the north." But on the southern hemisphere, the answer would be "in the south", and if you based a puzzle/riddle on this, half of the world's inhabitants would probably not be able to solve it.
