I don't know if you are finding my (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=106781) Fan mission listing by type sticky useful or not, but it strikes me you might be in a position to do me a great service if you didn't mind.
Since you seem intent on playing through the missions chronologically, and have played so many recently, I would be forever in your debt if you could stop by my sticky once in a while with a response to it, indicating which missions you have played and what categories you think they might go in. Since you are currently playing them, remembering them accurately would be easier for you than for some.
The simplest way to define my categorizing is that I try only to put a mission under a category if more of the FM has to do with said category than not. Ie. A "Keeper mission" ought to actually have keepers in it, or at least an abandoned keeper complex. On the other hand, a mission that happens to mention keepers occasionally or has one play some minor role doesn't qualify as a "keeper mission", if you get me.
As I said you seem to be in a position that could greatly help me, and I would be very grateful if you could.

Roughly chronological order is what I would recommend also. There are enough old gems to make it interesting.
I keep an EXCEL spreadsheet to keep track of the missions. I note which game it is for (T1/TG/T2), if I have downloaded it and if I have played it, my personal loot best, maximum loot, and a pretty large field for comments.
And I recommend that you take your time, so you do not get burned out.

I've always used Garrettloader to indicate what I have finished got loot/max loot etc. But after changing computers, new installations etc, I've lost track of what I've done so I've started a spreadsheet to keep track.
I am also going to take the advice here and start some of the earlier missions that I've probably never played.

I've seen a few of these listed already but as someone who has played nearly every fan mission (and posted reviews) the ones I'd have to absolutely recommend are:
Pirates Ahoy, The Lord Ashton Series, The Night Falcon Series, The Lady Lotti Saga, The Night In Rocksbourg Series, The Dracula Series, Ominous Bequest, Broken Triad, The L'Arsene Series, Fables Of The Penitent Thief, Eclipsed, Insurrection, The Keeper Investigations Series, The Love Story Series, Wicked Relics, The Seven Sisters, Rowena's Curse, Bad Debts, Disorientation, Mysterious Invitation, Ultima Ratio, Heist Society, All For A Nights Sleep, Rose Cottage, Memoirs Of A Dead God, The Fortress By The Sea, A Debt Repaid, The Way Of The Sword, A Weekend Getaway, Ack! There's A Zombie In The Basement, Sinful Opportunities, Calendra's Legacy, All Torc, Conspiracies In The Dark, The Ashen Age, Saturio Returns Home, The Seventh Crystal, The Book Of Prophecy Series, The Elizabeth Bathory Series, The Inverted Manse, Unfinished Business, The Lost Crusade, The Horns Of Canzo Series, Thief - The Flying Age, Thief 2X, COSAS, The Bane Series, When.. Still, The Last Lighthouse Keeper, Mixed Messages, The Mirror Of Return, Lord Beilman's Estate, The Mystic Gems Series, A Thief's Holiday, What Lies Below, Chronicle Of The Metal Age, A Keeper Of The Prophecies and many more I didn't mention.. they're all incredible missions with brilliant production values that their creators put a ton of work into. They'd keep you busy for months.

Hey kamyk, I'd be interested in helping you too organize all these missions into categories, if you're really inclined to updating your lists.

Wow, you're on a roll.
Once you finish all the T1, T2 FM's...you'll still have some T3 FM's to play through and(
http://www.thedarkmod.com) The Dark Mod if you happen to have a copy of Doom 3 lying around.
You're going to be busy. lol

the ones I'd have to absolutely recommend are:
It's a good list. I'd add Lord Alan's Fortress & Lord Alan's Factory, the winner of the contests (1st, 2nd, & 3rd is even better), Emilie Victor (by Gatane but not in the L'Arscene series), Relic: Left For Dead, Art of Thievery, Abominable Dr. Dragon, Fable of the Penitent Thief, Keeper of the Prophecies series.
Of the smaller ones or ones after these: Midday Escape, Garrett & the Beanstalk, Deceptive Perception (1 & 2), Viktor Gaspar, Thier Noir, Lady Lisa's Harbor, Chain Project (shameless self-promotion).
Wow, just so many of them...

Chain Project
Yeah, I really enjoyed this one. Missed quite a bit of loot, though.
Which of course is a great reason to replay it!

Emilie Victor (by Gatane but not in the L'Arscene series)
I have always viewed Emilie Victor as a mission to be played between L'Arsene and Les Korrigans. The story makes sense. For example, there is a message from Emilie in L'Arsene.
