711. You haven't played an FM for a long time.
712. You use this thread as a "to do"-list.
713. You have done everything mentioned in this thread.
714. You start looking over your shoulder in fear of DromEd coming to get you.
715. DromEd starts to say things like "Feeed meee!" when you are not tending to her.
716. You start referring to DromEd as a she.
717. You can not tell the difference between DromEd and your partner, even if you don't have one.
718. You are actually glad when your mission gets chewed up and there's no backup.
720. Your friends ask you why you named your kid "DromEd", but you don't have any kids.

721. You're up at 2:06 in the morning reading this ENTIRE thread, in a room by yourself laughing your ass off, UNDERSTANDING every line that's in it, commiserating in your heart with your fellow damned, sorry when you get to the end of the thread and it's over, and realize you still have something you can contribute to it. Then at 2:13 a.m., when you've posted your response, you get back to work on your mission. :weird: :tsktsk:
BTW: [612. You use Thief sounds as ringtones.] Guilty as charged

722. When many of the people you are most comfortable to be around, and whose company and conversation you enjoy, are people you've never met in person -- only on this forum! Real-life conversations have a way of making your mind drift away, then start filling up with possible solutions to problems in level design, ideas for other ways your level might go, ideas for new levels, objects, textures ... uh .. Did you just ask me a question? Sorry, I have ADD (Attention DromEd Disorder)
723. When your heroes, role models and cohorts have names like: Sliptip. Lady Rowena, Nameless Voice, Digital Nightfall, OttoJ55, GOB, Targa, Nightshifter, Gloria Creep ...
... and you're not in a band with them (one exception). :joke:
Note: Many more would have been included in the listing above, but I was only looking for the odd names. Also, a complete list would be way too long ...)
724. When you've been diagnosed with a rather serious condition that keeps you from working, and think "Cool -- now I have more time for my level ..."

725. You envy to those who got #724.

726. You spend much more time working on your contest mission than working on your master's thesis despite the fact that deadline for the thesis is earlier than for the contest mission... :nono:

727. After getting your master diploma instead of going to the party you go home and happily open Dromed :)

728 - The skills you learned from messing with brushes in DromEd help you pass geometry class.
sterlino on 4/4/2008 at 22:48
729 - you passed all the day making a list of 'things to do on dromed to finish the mission' and once arrived at house you are so tired that you aren't able to turn on the pc..
(this is real) :nono:

730. You actually like jorge.
It's true, I actually like jorge:
1. Each small square is 0.25x0.25 DromEd units. I find this useful when doing precise brush aligning (some stairways for example).
2. Each big square is 2x2 DromEd units. I find this useful for quickly seeing how big a brush is when in game mode. It's also useful when moving and resizing brushes.
3. Each triangle has an angle of 2:1 or (1:2 if it's tilted). I haven't found this particularly useful yet, but it could be used for quickly judging how steep a slope is.
4. It's ugly for a reason. If you have forgotten to texture a surface, it's mostly easy to spot it.
I have pretty strictly separated the brushwork phase from the texturing phase and I will keep the jorge until all brushwork is done. This way I can focus on the brushwork (and take advantage of the above steps) without getting lost in the hunt for the best texture and not having to realign all textures when (not if) I redo my brushwork. When all my brushwork is done I will start the texturing knowing that I will not need to do any major changes to the brushes and I can focus on finding the best texture and then aligning and rotating it all I want (or "going totally postal on it" as I was about to word it).

730 - Interesting arguments. Might try that myself!
731. Someone calls out that a light switch won't work -you yell back "Did you remember to add a Switchlink to the light?" :weird:
732. You set your alarm clock, turn it to face the wall and disable the clock on your taskbar. With all illusions of time hidden, proceed to Dromed away the entire night in utter bliss.
733. Whilst sitting at your computer, try to turn off your room lights via the Dromed command line. (seriously)
734. A friend complains they can't see any difference after repainting their room. Frown and tell them they didn't portalize.
735. Spend five hours fiddling replacing the text for various actions and objects with all kinds of smartypants stuff and laughing yourself silly. :joke:
736. Write a stickynote to yourself about a model airplane you just worked on that says "Don't frob until the glue is dry."
737. See a door locked by a keypad at your local business and mentally try to guess the hack difficulty.
738. An exchange student asks the price of a candy bar in a vending machine. Your reply? "Oh, not much, just 85 nanites."
