When I first posted here I was newly married with a young baby, and my whole adult life stretched out before me. Now it just stretches behind me.

A Finn ttlger started following me on Bluesky today. I recognized his real name but can't remember his nick, so I came here to look at the photoalbum in case he's there*. I've been on and off TTLG since 1999 under different Nicks, not that I was masquerading or anything its just I changed emails several times.

Piggy, I hope you're happy and well, too <3 Yes, those were the days! The time I found my way to TTLG was probably the best of my life, and peeking here every now and then somehow brings me back to that feeling for a bit. I'm happy this place still exists :)

Coming up on 26 years. I still pop in every couple of days and always enjoy seeing the names of people I spent hours chatting with in #thief. The early 2000's internet was a fun place :)

I saw this thread and immediately thought "hey, I've been here for 14 years too!"
Took me a few seconds to realise that that's not right and to redo the maths. Holy cow! In two months I've been on TTLG for 25 years! That's a quarter of a goddamn century. :o I haven't been the most active poster I suppose, but during my time in here I must have logged in just about every day. Usually many times a day, in fact! There are three forums like this that I count as my internet homes; one is sadly deader than dead (but I still log in there every now and then to reminisce about the good old days), the other has changed so much that it doesn't feel like the same anymore, but TTLG is still alive and kicking. :D
I think it's safe to say that TTLG has shaped my life much more than I ever could have imagined. Huge thanks to all those who have kept it running for all these years, and to all the people who have made it such a great and unique place. <3

It's only 22.5 years for me. =V
I was making stuff on dromed from the time T2 came out in 2000 though, so that's how I try to grandfather myself in honorarily.
