Ha ha! I know what you mean. They sounded so pathetic, obviously "...a malfunction...." But if I have excess water arrows, or if I know no AI will overhear the clanging of my blackjack on their steampipes, I'll shut those machines off for the abomination they represent. I find myself pitying them before realize they are the lifeless spoutings of the pre-recorded vocalizations of a megalomaniacal madman (not you, Mr. Russell!), and kill 'em in my disgust.
Then I QuickLoad and leave 'em be, since they're ultimately harmless.:thumb:
