Hi everyone,
So I've been playing some Thief 2 Multiplayer lately and I am really enjoying it, playing those OM's with someone else is a total new experience. I have some questions though,
1. What is the best method to make ddfix work with Thief 2 Multiplayer? My game works fine but the screen looks a bit fuzzy as if there's a film grain or something. I don't think it is using ddfix for me. (I can't use my native resolution either, it won't go higher than 1440 x 900)
2. Which FM's are compatible with T2 Multiplayer? Can you tell me which one you've tried and which one worked and which one didn't?
Thanks! :D

Sorry for bumping, but does no one have experience with this?

1. I had the same trouble getting it compatible with ddfix so can't help you there. (And another reason I was itching for it to become 1.19 compatible.)
2. Lord Alan's Factory is a good pick because it's so massive and lends itself well to cooperative gameplay. (There's a good YT Let's Play on it I saw anyway). There's another one we tried that was great, I remember the architecture, but I can't remember the name! The ones that are tough are ones that require elevator use (Ominous Bequest; edit: Hmm I have to go back & see how the LP guys handled the elevator in Lord Alan's Factory) or something like Equilibrium where the spawn-point is shut off from the rest of the mission. But often you can fix quirks like that in Dromed to play them though, if you're really determined.
Edit: I'll make it easier for you. Do a YouTube search for (

Thanks!
I added Lord Alan's Factory to my list of recommendable Multiplayer missions. Also thank you for the youtube hint, I didn't know the multiplayer was popular on youtube :)

The FM "From Beneath the Sands" works great in co-op. Not everything worked for the client but we were able to complete it 100%

You know, Mission X would be awesome for co-op if it was redesigned so that instead of voices telling you that their jobs had been finished, other players took on those roles and actually had to do their part before you could continue.
Simultaneous objective solving across the map would be awesome. Any maps specifically designed for MP yet?

Not that I know of, though there have been some faux-multiplayer maps made actually for single player, like Mission X, the guards vs thieves one, Yandros's arena deathmatch one (one or two other deathmatch FMs out there too), a faux-MP style contest mission... I keep thinking it might not take that much work to rig for multiplayer if someone put in the work.
The one I played with RavynousHunter was fun... Can't remember the name but it was a few large buildings in an outdoors area, with a big wall and massive door-like gate you had to open towards the start. Any FM where the layout is very open and large I'd think would be good for coop... where you can either divide & conquer going separate ways, or you can go down the same path & team-up because there's room for you to come at different approaches. I imagine open mansion FMs like Art of Thievery & Saturo Returns Home might be good, but haven't tried them. And probably big open city FMs would be good like DrK's FMs.
