If you want Thief Gold specific missions you can check out Alcazar and Nightwalk from the 1 million units contest :cool: I highly recommend Alcazar

That's an artistic choice by DirkBogan. You could probably use a mod to undo it, but then you'll incur the wrath of the forums. Tread carefully :)

If you'd like to turn it off, you can put a semi-colon ( ; ) in front of the 'tex_filter_mode 0' line in the mission's fm.cfg file :)
It is mostly an aesthetic choice, but it also prevents some minor visuals glitches. With NewDark's filtering on, decals with transparency display incorrectly, and there are obvious seam-lines down the middle of the Thief 1 meshes. But please play the way you would enjoy the most! :cheeky:
