Dafydd, I agree, I love rope arrowing. There's one spot I thought about it, maybe I should institue it in the update, there's really no reason not to.
Quant, this puzzles me. So far only 2 people have had this problem. The only difference with that box is a key to open it (which has StdButton script on it), One other box (jewelry) uses a key but doesn't have that script.
This has already been changed for the next release, so hopefully after that there will be no problems. I am just waiting on a few small things from others, so a new improved version is close at hand. Maybe you can try again then and let me know if it still happens. I will need to run the new version thru a few testers, maybe you'd like to test?

I am wondering if this is because he just installed the new scripts and then just loaded a new game... it might be better to try removing the mission's zip file from dark loader, and then re-loading it... because I just dowwnloaded the new scripts and started a new mission, but some loot was still unfrobbable, while others was now frobbable. Like for instance, there was a box full of jewelry, and first time I couldn't get any of it... after installing the scripts and restarting a new game I could get most of it, but not the ring. I'm too lazy at the momet to reload it in darkloader...

Ahh, I had not unzipped my tnhscripts(1.5.4) into theif II directory, now I will try to start a new mission, without removing and re-loading from darkloader just to see if it makes a difference...

i don't think you need to unload/reload from Darkloader, as the scripts aren't included in the zip anyway. But you will need to restart the level after installing the correct scripts.

Yep, it was un-necessary... I now can frob all the loot fine with no problems. I did notice a strange bug though, when picking the lock on the desk in Leo's study the lockpicking sound continues continually.

I still have one objective to go, "thieves hanging around, what's all of this about?" is not checked off... what do I have to do? I've prety much done everything.... just wandering around now...

I read about in a book. Thought is was maybe hidden
[SPOILER]somewhere near the spiders because of the hint ("Luckily he is not afraid of spiders" or something)[/SPOILER]
but can´t find it there...
