If it provides a revenue-rich stream for developers to keep pushing the envelope and trying new things, I can live with a few unfinished games.

Also, I'm much more inclined to buy Indie games since digital distribution services arrived than I ever was tempted by the process of buying shareware, which usually involved writing a
letter, or at the very least, filling out a form, printing it, and sending it off with a cheque. That was waaay too much effort.
