It's not a dog, well ok metaphorically it is but not really. On the surface "Became" is just a cool ghost story but on a deeper level it's about one of the rapper's friends who got in with a bad crowd.

What's "You Never Know"? And what does "hole time" and "not shit" mean? I'm having as hard a time of making sense of your post as I sense you had making sense of that song.

Personally, I just picked up (http://alexanderbrandon.bandcamp.com/album/violet-eclectic) Violet Eclectic by Alexander Brandon (+ some of his other albums on Bandcamp), and it's my favourite album of the year thus far. Snowstorm is my favourite song on the album, making it, I guess, my song of the year? (http://supergiantgames.bandcamp.com/) Bastion's soundtrack was pretty sweet too, though.

Atmosphere and RJD2 are actually sorta buddies of mine. When I still had my record store, I got them to both do CD release signings there. God, they have both come so far in the last decade...
