Indeed, I haven't. I don't really follow SH news these days. Thanks!

Yeah, as soon as I found out they were bringing the old voices back I went and preordered like the next day.
Oh hey here's another thing I'm looking forward to: the PS Vita!

Yeah, I'm potentially getting one of these too. Depends on what features it really has as opposed to what it's supposed to have. By now we should have much more seamless device integration than we do (if you look at iOS and Android et al) - it just never seems to work the way they say. Or if there is integration it's underwhelming/not adequately used.

I take it that whatever charlie-foxtrot was causing all the complaints about freezes etc at the Japanese launch has been sorted out?

The sense of speed in that video is amazing. I'm way out of the driving sim loop, admittedly, so perhaps it's par for the course nowadays, but I think that's the first time that I've actually felt fearful at how fast a simulated car is driving.
Also, I'm pretty sure that rFactor covered a pretty wide range of racing types by default, and provided comprehensive modding support of which advantage was duly taken, so I very much doubt you'll be restricted to Formula 1.

I think it was largely trolling in the end. Sure, there have been a couple of software updates but the reports on forums seem to have been well in excess of the actual reports to Sony. By the time it gets over here any issues will likely have been ironed out, and I wonder if that wasn't partly the strategic point of releasing in Japan so much earlier than anywhere else.

Torchlight 2 is the only title I'm actively looking forward to (that I can think of right now), I've lately come to appreciate the indie scene far more than the "Look, we made another game in the same franchise"-fest.
Some of those AAA-titles are quite good, but I'd rather wait for a decent sale on them.

I'm actually more excited for Torchlight 2 than diablo. Largely because it won't require an always-on DRM connection, so I will actually be able to play it.
As for titles previously mentioned......I plan to pick up Mass Effect 3. Beat the first two, and I kinda want to see the plot wrapped up. As retarded as the "galactic readiness meter" sounds, the reapers were interesting because they tapped into the same kind of creepiness as the Shivans from Freespace. An unexpected success for Bioware.
I'll pass on Arma 3 because the real thing was enough for me.
Looking at Dishonered with tempered curiosity, and it would be amazing if Planetside 2 somehow releases in 2012.
