Hi all,
I'm trying to replay a 10 rooms contest mission from 2014.
I find a skeleton in a closet, the electrical lights don't work, but
I got flares, I found a key chain but no other keys or lockpicks.
There some holy powder in the cabinet in the kitchen and I found my diary with a request from my neighbour about a bloody gem and a code to look for.
Does this ring any bells for you? I don't know the name.
When I safe the game, it just shows HOME

OK. For some reason I know the name now. It's Anybody home...
Now how do I move on. Some hints please???

My old notes for the mission tell me the following:
1. Try to switch on the light.
2. Find the keychain to open the apartment door.
3. Find the crowbar in the elevator door.
4. Open the fuse box outside the apartment (probably with the crowbar).
5. Later on, open several doors in the apartment in order to find a room with a hole in the floor. This is where you enter your neighbour's apartment.
6. Solve some kind of riddle or puzzle to open the safe.
7. The gem inside has to be treated with Holy Water before you can take the gem. Find an empty flask on your balcony, behind some sacks, fill it with water in the kitchen and add the "Holy powder". The soup is ready now.:cheeky:
8. Go back to the safe and use the bottle of selfmade Holy water on the gem.
9. Go back to your apartment, leave it through the door to the floor outside, and meet a Haunt telling you that it isn't over yet. However, the mission ends with success at this point.
I do not know how well these short notes might help you, but that's all I have. And I'm currently too lazy to check whether Ricebug's walkthrus provide more answers for this mission.:rolleyes:

The password to the safe is 3626.
Yeah, it's been a while since I started to realize what sort of s*** of a mission I created back then.
Ridiculously low frob range, pointless keyhunt and vague hints about the safe... I honestly had no idea back then, I was told to make the FM more difficult than it was during betatest, but... I didn't know HOW to properly make it difficult. (shouldn't have even tried I guess)
Then again, properly accepted mistakes build a fundament for perfection. I hope to find time to build a remastered version of the FM and solve the mistakes of poor design.

I did not think the mission was so bad. The only negative comment in my notes is that some items are hidden a bit too well.
