Happy New Year douchebags!
Here's to another year of envying Henke's seemingly bottomless pit of gaming enthusiasm and seeing how long at a time I can ignore the Members Only forum (seriously, that place is to CommChat what CommChat is to GenGaming). It's been a glorious 14 years ladies and gents.
I've had a very busy 2014 filled with some of the best moments of my life (getting married was a lifetime high).
Here's hoping all of you have had as good or better.
I'm currently smashed on Champagne and wondering what the deal is with Champagne - for the price, it ought to be doing more for me than just "so this is fizzy wine then". I seriously don't see how it is better than Prosecco or Crémant (neither of which are that great either).

Happy new year friends and bastards.
New Years is a big deal in the land of the rising sun, but we managed to scrape by. We went to a temple for whatnot, I got the best fortune one could hope for, stayed warm on hot sweet sake mash, braved the crowds, saw the sun rise over the city, now it's already next year afternoon.
On the delicate issue of champaign, our party had a tasting contest to tell which of 2 glasses was the $200 DonP stuff and which the $8 knock off stuff. I won because I just matched the colors of the booze with the colors in the bottles, accounting for tint etc. Didn't think of that did you? Anyway they gave me a plasma tv sized hundred million yen bill. Not sure if it's legal tender, but I plan on buying on orange coke and asking the clerk for change with it just in case.

I checked it out on Early Access but it was still pretty buggy and half the mechanisms they'd announced hadn't been implemented yet. Is it worth going back to it now?
Anyway, there are rumours there'll be a 2016 Kickstarter going up any day now.
