No, I genuinely believe Bioshock's writing is a great step above SS2's. And why shouldn't it be? Ken Levine had nearly ten years to improve his craft.
And it's well known around here that half the games ZB criticizes he hasn't even played.

Well I have played it, and aside from some inspired bits, most of the game isn't any better than the stuff you'd find in SS2. You can think otherwise if you want, but that just damages your credibility on anything ever. And we already know how valid your opinions are.
