Well, the screenshots look as if taken without 3d acceleration, just look at the npc's, they just look pixilated.

I'm pretty sure that the pixelation you're seeing is a result of shrinking the .jpg without using anti-aliasing. i.e. It's an issue with the picture, not the screen the picture was shot of.
You simply can't push that kind of architecture and textures
without a 3d card.

Hi Scottish Whisky,
The game is actually 3D accelerated (well, there is actually no software version at all to be honest).
And you're right, rendering is currently quite pixelated, this is because we haven't implemented a proper midmapping feature yet, so, textures need to get smoothened and reduced once rendered at a certain distance, otherwise, it produces a pixel effect, most of all in our case as textures are highres. Soon, the screens will be smoother
