I have 3D vision with nvidia. I tryed it on mine but 1.19 did not work in 3d sad to say, was really did hope that it would. Anyone had any luck in getting it to work with vision at all.

hi!
i got it working perfectly with sli.
with single gpu however there was no stereo and the frame rate was below 1 fps.
another thing i noticed is that iz3d stereo mode has to be toggled off with num*.
otherwise the game is rendered 4 times.
you can do this permanently in the iz3d control panel by disabling "enable stereo at application startup".
depth and convergence are controlled via 3d vision emitter or hotkeys as usual.
nvidia driver AA doesn't work with iz3d so you have to activate it in cam_ext.cfg (multisampletype 8)
transparency AA still works though so it's possible to get up to 8x sgssaa (with nvidia inspector).

Yes. Working fine for me by using IZ3D driver per the instructions in the link posted above. Make sure you remember to rename the executable from thief.exe to thief3.exe

Since patch v1.19, I no longer need to rename thief.exe and thief2.exe to thief3.exe
I installed Thief2 via Tafferpatcher (without DDFix) and Thief Gold via TFix.
Anyone else playing Thief in 3D without renaming the exe?
my system is windows 7 64bit and GTX 580 and nvidia driver 306.23
System shock 2 does still require renaming shock2.exe to thief3.exe in order for 3D to turn on.
In case anyone is interested, System shock 2 also looks perfect in 3D, with or without mods.
I am playing SS2 for the first time. It's certainly not thief, but it's a fun, interesting game in 3D.

messed with it some more and got it to work ok, and it still great as i remember it was back years ago when i had my first 3D setup.
Not tryed gold yet but will do over the weekend.
Anyone had ago at deus ex at all, thats another game i would love to play 3D.

deus ex works with the updated exe + d3d10 renderer: (
http://kentie.net/article/dxguide/index.htm)
if there is no stereo due to an outdated 3d vision profile you can either rename the exe or remove it from the profile with nvidia inspector.

Been trying to get gold to work, no luck with it and no luck with dues ex either :(.

Followed the instructions in the guide to the letter and I now have Thief Gold, Thief 2 and System Shock 2 all working great in stereo 3D using nvidia 3D Vision. Only issue I saw so far was stars in TG weren't at the right depth, but not a huge deal. The actual 3D is..... good I would say, not amazing because you can't have the convergence point far away due to the sword/black/bow being very close to the viewer, but still.... it definitely adds to the immersion, and the semi-opacity of the 3D glasses actually gets you close to the decent black depth needed to enjoy Thief/Thief2 which you won't really get on an LCD otherwise.
I did have to rename both Shock2.exe / ThiefG.exe to thief3.exe to get the 3D working in SS2 and TG btw.
Just wanted to say thanks to whoever figured this out (partol I believe).
