I may be a week late on this (and not trying to dredge up hate or discourage anyone from building), but I think if you choose to release a mission, you accept the responsibility of receiving good and bad feedback from players who are also taking time out of their lives to play something you made.
I know there's people who dislike my missions. And although I may be disheartened that they don't like them, I do try and listen to their criticism. I mean, the greatest pieces of art or literature in the world are not universally loved, so there's no way everyone will enjoy what I make.

Well, there's constructive criticism and asshole criticism. Constructive criticism is honest, kind and supportive it's purpose it to support growth and be encouraging. Asshole criticism is none of these things, and is absolutely devastating to a creative environment.
In the case of the 48 hour contest, it's necessary to recognize one cannot hold it to the same standard as a regular FM and that despite whatever shortfalls an FM has, criticism should still be constructive.
Also, yes, I'm alive, and I'll make a winning announcement soon, revealing the authors.

I'll unstick this thread when you make your announcement thread, AM16.
I'll also confirm that no-one voted for more than 2 missions, as requested.
