I tried this through FM Sel and Running Interference started. :erg:
Edit: It was easy enough to add a strings/missflag.str file. I made it inside the first building as far as the bathroom. There is a metal door past the bathroom, but I'm at a loss of what I'm supposed to do or where to go.

No its the file that tells Thief to skip down to the mission number i.e. in this case miss20.
Just in case there is no update before the contest ends...
Copy the following into notepad and save as missflag.str in a c:\strings folder. Make sure there is one blank line at the end of the following text: From there just copy that folder to the mission's zip file:

sword is not visible at all. black jack is like torch in the inventory but its not so important. I dont know what to do behind the gate where the wooden stairs are any help pls

I had a huge issue with the sword - I tried attacking the undead with it, but to no avail. I couldn't figure out what to do to get through the end gate on the wall, it was unlockable. I figured I must need to go in the cottage that the unkillable undead was in, so I tried and died every time. Other than that, it was well-decorated and had well-thought-out ambients. I thought it was nicely done, especially for the little time given. Wish I could have killed that undead, though, and gotten to the end.

My sword isn't visible either but the blackjack inventory pic is a flare. :) Oh the sword doesn't have any effect either.
Caradavin how did you get past the beginning? I'm stuck at the metal door near a bathroom.
