Opening this thread for any discussion or questions that relate to the mission Dirty Money by anonymous. Please post here with anything you have. the guard textures are either white or inviso for me,also some floors and another textures are black for me,but great layout of map

anyone else having issues with textures

Note that this mission is for Thief Gold, not Thief 2.

Still confused on this, but does it even matter if its T1/G or T2? DarkLoader identifies it as a T2 mission. Even though I put it in my Thief Gold folder, it unzipped itself into the T2 directory. Plus, it shows up in the game's load screen as a T2 mission.

I'm not getting the rope arrows to show up, even though they are assigned correctly. Have to use the Next/Previous Weapon keys. When I shoot them into the wooden beam, they don't show up. They make the sound if hitting the wood, but that's it.

Ricebug : Darkloader nigh always consider TG missions as T2 missions since newdark...
For TG missions the best is to use FMSel. I just tried the mission on TG, the game run it perfectly and I had no such bugs!

You guys need to grasp the simple concept that Thief Gold and Thief 2 are NOT the same game. Just launch Thief Gold FMSel and play the mission. Bam, problem fixed.

Folks,

How to run a Thief Gold mission in Darkloader (adapted from the instructions at the start of the thread for _Chalice of Souls_, posted by skacky):

1) Install the FM in your FM archive directory as usual.
2) Launch Darkloader and select the FM, but don't launch the mission. Instead, close Darkloader once the FM is selected and shows the T2 gear icon.
3) In your Darkloader directory, open the file named darkloader.ini.
4) Search for Dirty Money, it should be at the very end of the file.
5) Replace the line type=2 with type=1. Save and close the file.
6) Launch Darkloader again and the FM should appear as a TG FM with the TG flower icon.

This seems to work for me.

I added to the OP that this mission is for Thief Gold.

And I'm a little surprised that some of the regulars around here still don't understand that TG missions need special handling with Darkloader.
