Despite being created for the 72 Hour Contest, Dirty Money is one of the best fan missions ever made for Thief Gold. It has that grimy atmosphere which I love about DrK creations. I liked the intricate architecture, the varied ambient music and the often horrifying journals by the inhabitants of decrepit Knavesbury. My favorite section is the beginning, where you can do quite a bit of roof climbing and exploration. The Pit itself was less impressive: I felt it was a bit too mazelike, had too many identical rooms with bunk beds and too many samey crawlspaces. That is where it seemed to show the mission was created in a hurry. But I loved some nice touches like how there is a sealed door in the secret stash that leads to a haunted area from where you can hear eerie whispers and moans. I loved that room. Finished on Normal in 1 hour and 10 minutes. Found 2627 of 3000 total loot, which I think was a good haul. Needed no hints because books contained enough clues.
I happened to play The Chalice of Souls yesterday, so it was nice to find a reference to Mr. Kedwell and Madame Demetra from Fidgewick's Hollow.

baeuchlein, I use Clearing site quite a lot, especially for screenshots, but I've never been able to download either walkthroughs nor files as I always get an error msg from cloud.mail.ru saying tht it has given a non valid response ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR, and it tells me to reload the page but with no success.

Wow! What a magnificent mission with a marvelous architecture. The whole idea of both literal and criminal underworld reminded me of Whispers Below the Cobblestone. But Knavesbury is more cramped and really feels like some godforsaken and creepy place. Monster sounds made me extra nervous and when I found two mugged rogues I had "what the hell moment" and was sure there's something going on. Turned out it was me who blackjacked them, and got lost later in those winding alleys. Thank you!
