I do realize this is an old thread, but I just downloaded this mission.
I was wondering if there is a loot list or, better, a walkthrough. Playing on expert and I can only find about 12500 loot. Any help would be appreciated.

Ricebug has a collection of terrific hint books out that include hints, walkthroughs and loot lists for most of the T2 missions made to date. For this mission, download 2005 Volume 6 from (
http://www.ricebug.net/thief/Thief.html) Ricebug's website and go to page 217. You'll find hints on that page and a loot list on page 218.

It's an old thread but there has been some activity here I see. First off, this is my first official post on TTLG so there's that. :D Secondly, this was my very second FM that I've played (the first one was Bad Blood, a really good one!) Although pretty simple and easy to understand, I enjoyed this one quite a bit. I missed the switches at the jeweler's workshop at my first try, but that happens with the game in general because it so dark! The lack of ghosting doesn't really bother me since I enjoy taking out guards and hiding their unconscious bodies in the shadows.
I really liked the doormaker's (?) workshop and how it builds up the in-game world. I genuinely felt terrible stealing the poor man's savings, he had even bought a safe just recently and had an significant other. But there's that classic Thief magic: with just written text you're able to create the feeling of a real, living place.

Thought I had done a decent job scouring the map but was a bit shy of the expert loot goal, started searching around with even more focus. Thank you snoring person in the attic/up the ladder that I didn't see, just what I needed to reach the goal!

First FM I've played in over a decade, and what a fun one to start with! Really impeccable attention to detail with all of the little buildings.
Did cheese a bit by dropping down from the archer-patrolled walls to get to the art gallery.
