Diana:
The grey key does trigger the thieves' arrival!
If you went through the destroyed outpost earlier, you would have
seen 5 dead hammers, While you were off getting the Mech info,
they joined the army of the undead! The thieves are the group
mentioned in Willy's notes who were coming to raid the tombs.
Glad the bug is fixed and I'm thrilled to see everybody likes it!:)

OK, thanks John D. That makes perfect sence. Well now the thieves don't have to abandon their hideout because the tombs are clean!!! But empty. :ebil:
Loved the music: all thoughout the mission the sound effects really added to the experience. VERY unnerving!!!
Now how long do we have to endure, pine away, before your next mission is released?
diana50322 on 25/10/2002 at 15:16
...and speaking of music....
I'm sitting here listening to Kid Rock's Only God knows Why. Man if that's not Garrett's theme song I don't know what is. Except it would have to be "Only Builder Knows Why" :laff:
I could just see all those thieves jamming together!

Those ambient sounds are loud, they make me tremble in my seat, literally. I must play with the door closed, or the whole house will hear it. I'm waiting for someone to walk by and say "playing UT again?" when I'm in the middle of a big fight.

I used some sounds from T1 in my FM, they turned out to be
a little loud (some dromed thing I havent figured out yet), but
they seemed to fit well. Not sure when I'm going to do another
FM, but I just got an expansion for Dromed called Dromed Deluxe-
made by the guys at the editing forum, its AWESOME!:joke:
New AI, textures, and plenty of other things to play with!:thumb:
I forgot to mention this earlier, but another inspiration for
my FM was Tomi's Thief Gold Mission DEADLY DARKNESS.
It starts off with a really cool AI fight!

Just want to stick my two pennies worth in too. I'm generally not much of a zombie haunty fan { though I'm beginning to like them !} but this was just great John . I think the way you used the letters/scrolls to keep the story going was excellent , really kept me glued to my seat {or leaping out of it ! -particularly when I stood on a zombie which I hadn't noticed ! }Great fun !:)

John D. you are the perfect person to author a mission called "Paint the Town Red"!!!
Only that's not paint they're using. :wot:  I even have a few puzzles to get you started.

Wheres the sword? I'm playing robber difficulty
In the tomb of Lysander
Wheres that?
Great mission, I loved the experiance of the water archers
John D. on 27/10/2002 at 04:17
Haunt:
The tomb of Lysander is not far from the
destroyed Hammer outpost, when you see the room where
there is a magic light above a tomb guarded by
two apparitions, go to the far end and you will
find a locked door. Pick the lock,
go down the hallway, pick the next locked door.
Go to the top of the Pyramid, grab it, then sit tight
and watch..........
:ebil:
Hehe Paint the town Red is a funny name!:laff:
But, having built up a story line over the last 3 missions,
(and a piece of fan fiction)
the planned name of my next FM (that I've just begun)
is....
Island of Iron pt1: Fortress of Steel
