I just finished the new version, and either killed or knocked out everything but the thieves who don't harm you anyway, to have a look around and see what every room connects to. I also triggered the haunt/hammer fight from the intended side this time, and you were right, the view is alot better from this side. I found 5220 loot, so I'm wondering where you hid the last 200. Since the mission is empty of any opposition, I may do a little searching, but I'm not that good in finding obscurely hidden loot.
Also, I managed to do 42923 damage! I'm not sure how I did it, but the sunburst I used to blow up five zombies and three apparitions might have something to do with that...

I've noticed when you blast open the Haunt chamber, sometimes
one of the gold cups gets knocked off one of the tombs and gets
stuck in the small gap between it and the wall, you might try
checking there. If that's where it is, you might not be able to get to
it. Have you checked the small bedroom by the lab? There should
be a bag of gold there lying by a speed potion.

I have the purse from that bedroom, and all the gold cups on the tombs in the golden skull area I think. I could take another look there, but isn't there any other well hidden loot somewhere? I don't want to take a look in all of the open tombs...

Hmm, I have a few more ideas where the loot might be:
[SPOILER]1. the safe in one of the Mechanist rooms
2. A piece of gold in the same hallway as the Precursor Mask
3. Did you check the bottom of the well? There's some coins there
4. Lady Demeter's tomb, if you look at the bottom
of the open grave, there should be some gold in there.[/SPOILER]

All the loot is in plain site, although because of the darkness you may have to get very close to make it frob. I think the only empty tomb that contained loot was the one John D. mentioned above. It was because of that very fact that I loved this mission so much: all the loot is findable if you just cover the entire map. There was one small tomb room that contained one of those serpant circle things that I would never have found if I hadn't carried around a lantern totting gaurd.

Great FM even for me who hates haunt levels...What is this artifact i'm supposed to find and this scroll for Nightwalker can't find it. Is it in the big pool area? All I could find there was some coins.

The note to Master Nightwalker is [SPOILER]in the Keepers' area. You dive into the pool where you found the coins and check the walls. There are 4 grates and one of them will open. Swim through and follow the passageway.[/SPOILER]
