At first, hello everyone !
I would like in this thread from time to time ask some Dromed question. Sorry if the title is too general or the answer is easy to find. I'm, kind of new here.
1. How to make starting point ( I know how to make "standard" SP ) with crouching position ?
2. How to make object like footlocker, with open lid ?
Thx for any answer.

Petition to have have thread renamed to "An upwardly unbounded set of questions".

1. As far as I know, there's no way to force a player into a crouching position
2. In the object's properties, go to Add-->Tweq-->JointsState. Turn AnimS to 'On'

Strange reaction. All the guides that I have read ( Komag, Nicked, SneakyGuy101, thx guys ) say to come here and ask questions. Many other tutorials in first sticky thread are "404 not found" by now. I have a lot of questions, which answers I could not find anywhere, but rather the questions are not the "ultaprolevel + + + +", so I have to seek advice elsewhere. Hard times for new Dromed supporters. Thread to close.
PS : Thx Xorak.

If you have looked and not found, then ask, but put the topic in the title. "A couple of questions" gives no clue as to what you are trying to do or what problem you are having.
If you are really asking how to make a container which opens and closes, then refer to (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=142374) Jointed Objects: a new tutorial. If that isn't what you were asking, then rephrase your question please.

You met some "funny" people here. This is actually a place with a collegial atmoshere. Keep on dromeding, don't get distracted by this. ;)

Understand that when you ask how to make a Start Point, that's one of the very first things one puts in the map. Such a question tells us you haven't read anything. We anticipate a lot more needless questions that can all be easily avoided by following one of the tutorials.
Go to (
http://www.keepofmetalandgold.com/) Komag's site, find
My Tutorials in the left pane, and click on
KomagTutvT2.
There are other fine tutes, but this is the one most of us cut our teeth on. And fib is correct--we're pretty laid back but we also expect a little give and take. Apologies. :)
