I think I've seen that before, even without DDFix. I think it happens sometimes when Dark can't get a handle to the graphics card for some reason.

I got this error after deleting a gif file while having dromed open with my mission, and going back into edit mode.

This was in the Dromed's 3d view. There were a quite a few polys with the sky texture, and some of the faces were vertical.
