Some thoughts
- So far, no one has died in a cliffhanger, so I'm pretty sure Jon is still alive.
- I like the Melisandre's chapter, gave a side of her I didn't expect.
- I'm betting the other two dragon riders are Tyrion and Aegon.
- Reek/Theon's chapters were a nice surprise. At first I was cheering his misfortunes at Ramsay's hand, but I soon found myself feeling sorry for him. I also like the way his chapter titles changes as he slowly recover from his trauma and become a almost decent person again. Martin has managed to have another character redeem himself.
- Regarding the epilogue, anyone felt there's something more to Dany having her moon's blood? Something about her not remembering when was the last time she had it. So it suddenly returned to her? Is she fertile again? There seem no point for it to be in the story if it's something inconsequential. A red herring?

I'm rereading a few spots to try to clarify a point or two. And saw an opportunity to be horrendously immature, so here we go: Did Theon get his penis cut off? There are a couple of hints - one time he's thinking to himself and says something like "So far he'd only lost a few fingers and toes, and that other thing." Is the other thing his penis? Then after Ramsay marries fake Arya and is being an ass and has tells Theon to get her wet, he says something like "My lord I can't" before Ramsay tells him to use his mouth - he can't what, do her, because he has no penis, perhaps?

Yes, he's the new Varys. See also the repetition of himself thinking he's not a man, not wanting to be naked in front of anyone

It took longer to finish this than any of the others and I've come to the conclusion I just don't give as much of a rats ass if every damn character dies of the bloody flux or gets ass raped stupid by the Others anymore. He has drug this dead elephant around describing every maggots life story until I just don't care. Dany is a layabout peacenic who finally mounts her dragon only to fly off and abandon it? Oh but it comes back. Does this mean she will scorch every slaver ro ashes? Nah. She will vascillate between peace and screwing the corpse of her hoodrat Darrio for six more books without ever considering his advice. Will Snow live? Will Cersei die? Will Bran sprout a root? Will Arya get justice on any of her names before they all die in ways we just don't give a damn about? About all I hope for anymore is that everyone, bad or good will die painfully. I hope the dragons win and everyone else burns in screaming agony described individually and in gory detail for three more books.
And the worst part is I already know I'm a damn liar and I will buy the next book no matter how much I hate myself for it.

The only way I will read these books is if
they DO end with everybody dying horribly. :D
