I know many of you don't go over to <a href=http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=123325>General Gaming</a> much, so I thought I'd drop by and share that a demo's been released of Amnesia: Dark Descent. I think some of you who prefer the horror aspects of Thief might enjoy it. :)

Just watched the teaser. That looks really neat!
Reminds me a lot of Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth.

Frictional Games, the guys behind Amnesia will also release a game editor, hopefully some our creative minds from the community will manage to tweak it and create a thiefy MOD :)

I think Gamespot or IGN has a review up as well.
The things I keep hearing repeated are:
- immersive audio
- graphics
- stealth-ish
- scariest game ever
I guess the whole "no weapons + monsters = run/hide/don't go insane" really takes it toll on a person. :D
