Slowly pushing the keepers to their doom! I didn't think it possible. That has got to be the most patience I have ever heard practiced in an OM. You must have been very very bored, eh?
That is how you did it, right?
Anyhow, I commend you. :thumb: This is new territory! Too bad Cutty doesn't stay alive, we could push him all the way to the exit! ;)

fist the secret of the Alarus Extension is finally revealed, and now this. Isn't it great how Thief lets you discover new things all the time even though it's older than I am? :)

Actually I just have been very very amazed by this game and all the possibillities for experimentation it offers :) And... perhaps... bored a little, you're right :) I spent about half an hour playing the basketball and trying to show best result in getting the ball in those damn baskets :)

Can you stop the descent by standing under it?
You can stop the descent of the porticullis only for the time while you are standing under them. And unfortunately the Keepers are physically transparent for the porticullis (or vise versa).

It'd be hard on expert, having to carry Basso too, though.

Neato!
Hmm, I don't remember seeing all those colors before. Perhaps its just your video card. I "flew" around that area some time ago in dromed and I never saw such thing, maybe I just missed it. Cool nonetheless!:thumb:

can someone explain to me how you killed those guys, and how you got up on the roof..cuz i cant seem to understand it. I tried to get up on the roof at a number of places and failed each time. After about 2 hours I gave up.

IIRC there are three places where you can roof-walk in the Training mission.
1) The courtyard where your receive your weapons.
Climb onto the table in the courtyard and then onto the window sill next to you. Next, quickly jump from it onto the tree and mantle up to the balcony before you slide off. Then its an easy jump 'n' mantle onto the rooves.

2) The area where you first climb the rope.
Jump from the raised walkway onto the top of the frame that supports the rope. Take a running jump to the sloped roof.

3) The end of the raised walkway right at the very end of the mission. Basically the same proceedure as above. Get on top of the frame that hold the rope and take a flying leap. The roof here is very slippery, so you'll need to be quick in getting yourself to a secure spot.
