:) done. A fantastic mission :thumb:
(except for those killer crates)
I couldn't manage to get into the water power house though. I tried to rope arrow through the window but it wasn't long enough..

If you are talking about the
green brick building with the window/shutters: You shoot a rope arrow through the window so that the arrow hangs down into one of the water passages. Then jump down into the canal and swim into the water passage with the rope. When you come up you may have to swim away from the pipe, but then climb up the rope.
:)
...and please use spoiler tags when mentioning specifics about the FM. :)
Loot ListThe loot list can be found (

The elevator in Sluggs' museum provided some laughs. If you raise the elevator and then have a guard chase you to it, you can sit crouched below it in the center and the guard will run right on top of you and touch his head on the bottom of the elevator and die instantly. I did this about six times and it got funnier each time. Another instance I rode it up and the guard stopped directly below it. I lowered it, which killed him, and then while dead he said "Hmm...this is embarassing." Now that's funny right there.
I too could not finish the mission until I broke the window above the foundry even though it was not an objective on "ghost." I broke about four crates in a room, three were rotten and one was normal. I had four crates left on the map. They were the normal light brown color, but they all would cause me damage, even the one by John's bed, so I had to take damage on my exit.
As far as I can remember this was the first FM I have played that had talking kids. Refreshing.

I was about to use my blackjack on this little girl (yeah, I'm cruel) when she all of a sudden started to chuckle. That took me by surprise so I just had to let her go. :cheeky:

The crate problem has been fixed and will be included in v1.2
I had a blast while having a guard chase me into the museum. I would lure the guard onto the elevator and then send him on his way up, and then just leave. :laff:

hey john,
i have a question for ya, i have version 1.0, the non dedx one,is the non endind objective one in this one as well as the one on thief missions.com version 1.0?
Im back on dial-up and it takes sooooo long to dl anything. if possible could you update the 16 mb (or whatever it was) non dedx one as well if it is causing problems too?
Thanks :)

Yes both versions will be updated. I may even make a third zip file at my site that includes only the files that changed (which were only 3) so that the download will be quicker. Then all you would have to do is add those 3 files to whatever zip file you downloaded. :)

John9818a,
I'm happy to report that with version 1.1, BOTH the frame rate problems are gone AND now I can save and load anywhere with the guards/civilians in any state and I've never had a game fail to load.
Great job! :thumb:

OK, I'm looking for one more secret, specifically the one listed as being:
near the thieves.
Any ideas?
I've successfully managed to BJ all three thieves (not easy), and I found the way up to the guard's tower near the three thieves, and I've been to the room with the explosive crates near the thieves and the room across the balcony from there, and I've figured out how to enter the water treatment plant, but that apparently doesn't count as a secret.
