Ehmm... :( ok. John, if you'll present new version, please, [SPOILER]place some loot and make secret place at the top of buildings above the armoury. Although the railing-fence isn't climbable, after many minutes of attempts to do it I encounter it is possible to climb it on the most right side and reach a small square area in between roofs. [/SPOILER] And no loot, no secret... :(

Sometimes it is very hard to prevent the player from climbing the invisible fences. There is a small bug in Thief that allows the player to actually climb through the 10' fence. That area is not a secret area. :) I tried to keep the player from reaching that spot because of the polys.
There won't be any new versions of this FM. Sorry.

I've downloaded v 1.2 and still have frame rate issues. I don't have any issues playng T2... the frame rate problem started in part 2 at the fishmongers, after I KO'd 2 guards patrolling the deck above the water. I tried to carry on with the game but it's now unplayable. :(
I've really enjoyed the mission so far and hate to have to give up.

Can someone tell me how to get to Jeni's house where the ring is please? I know I'm thick but I've explored the whole area, can't even find the fish shop(?) it's supposed to be near! I think I must be playing a different game from everyone else!! Thanks! raymeld

Now I know Im stuck.It seems I haven't even got out of the initial area! I got the letter objective on the far side of the town from the start point but the ring obviously isn't here in this area.I've tried climbing over the rooves but can't get into any other area. Can anyone tell me how to proceed, I guess the rope arrow in my inventory is a clue but I can't see anywhere to climb.Must be me I can't seem to get started.Thanks for ANY tips!

The ring is lying on the carpet in one of the upstairs bedrooms in the house where you picked up the letter. It's easy to overlook. Once you've got it, head over to John's house, which is marked on the map and down into his basement. The mission will end and you can continue to Pt. 2, which gets you into the new part of town.
