Very nice mission. Perfect architecture.
Finished but only 1/7 secrets. Has anybody found all secrets?
john9818a on 21/8/2005 at 23:37
I have. :)
Here are some hints for the secrets:
1 - near the thieves
2 - in the hotel
3 - across the street from the hotel
4 - near the fish monger
5 - in the fish monger
6 - near the vendor shack
7 - on top of the air mage shop
:o And that would be the building I thought was the blacksmith's building. I put arrows into all the windows I could see, it didn't work. Hmmm.
*runs back to FM, returns a few minutes later*
:o Mission complete! Apparently I hadn't searched
the rooftop of that building yet. Did so, and found that evil, evil window. Thank you! :thumb:

John, I looked everywhere. I have searched many windows and rooftops and I cannot believe I got only one secret. Please, note at least 2 secrets so I know whether it's a bug or I am blind unexperinced taffer... :-) Thanks.

I put some secrets hints about three posts above this one.

OK. I am blind taffer... :-) Thanks John.
Perfect mission. I liked all the jump from window to window/rooftop; the way how to get to the water station and many others...

John9818a -
I have fought with this mission much of today and believe that the inability to save occurs whenever anyone is alerted in the area starting with the jail and around that entire loop.
Recreation mechanism:
1) Run towards the jail across the stream until they actually SEE you and start chasing you (enter the jail if necessary)
2) With them chasing you, run to the air mage's place
3) Run up the ladder in the air mage's place
4) Immediately save.
5) Try to load - it should fail.
This would also explain why you haven't recreated - as a mission creator who has to make sure it's "just so" for the ghosters out there you would tend to automatically play in ghost mode and never alert the enemies.

:sly: I've been alerting those taffers for 10 months. :)
I'm not sure what went wrong, because today I played the release version, and quick-saved and quick-loaded all over the map.
I'll keep looking for a solution.

Hmmm... maybe it is something specific to some (but not all) of our machines.
Good luck!
