My old boss used to run 12 miles before work each day. He had 3 jobs, worked 7 days a week, and averaged 80 hours on the job. Some people are just insane.

Without double-checking, comedian/actor Eddie Izzard ran 43 consecutive marathons, with a day or two of rest between each, or thereabouts, and he's not a runner, though not inactive, but still...:erm:

Argh, I get tired just by reading that. When did he sleep? :weird:
Maybe I'll try a bubbly-drinking marathon.

(
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/8256589.stm) According to the Beeb it was 43 marathons in 51 days. And while he didn't do it in heels he may have been wearing knickers.
Anyway, it was an amazing feat for an amateur runner and pretty risky too. Kudos, Eddie.
