Trying to downsize though - we're travelling with just what fits in our van, the rest is going into storage. My brother is going to hang on to it though. The only old games I care about playing are SS2 and the Thief series and they work fine in Win7.

Do not listen to those that are trying to persuade you to install Linux or keep Victoria for legacy gaming. Douse the hag in petrol, set it on fire, and take some pictures for us.

Because the things you own end up owning you.

Was Victoria a trendy laptop or a homey PC?
Do you have pics of this historic machine?

It's pretty clear that it was/is a PC since he mentioned that he built Vic and that she was made obsolete by their nomadic lifestyle and that she was replaced by portable models.

Really! I've spent entire days trying to get them running on my machine on XP, but I haven't given it a shot since replacing XP with 7. Is there any particular trick to it? I tried everything that was recommended in the threads on the subject here at TTLG, but no dice for XP.

I commiserate fett.
My faithful old Silverstreak still sits on the floor next to my PC hutch; silent and cold. I just can't bring myself to do anything drastic with it .... yet.
More like your CleanSweep 7, right?
