Hmm, that's really strange. The crystals work fine for me.
Maybe try downloading Gaylesaver's custom scripts. I noticed the readme says the mission has custom scripts, but the box isn't checked in darkloader.

Hopefully, that will fix it - I mean you got to have something to
try out all those goodies on!
:ebil:

I really liked this mission! Tons of fun with new AI in arena style combat. Are all of these skins available in DromEd Deluxe?? Wow!
I also liked the
Garden of Forgotten Fruit. Sacred Orange - lol!
Imaginative and fun! :thumb:

This is a really fun mission.... I always love playing both Creature Clash missions as a fun diversion, but this one DEFINITELY takes the cake... especially once I found the secret arsenal.
So how many different things can happen when you frob
the red button? I've seen the gold skull and the wine bottle.... are there more?
kfort on 4/2/2003 at 19:19
Three . . .
On each difficulty level something different happens . . .
.
.
So on normal - winebottle
.
.
on hard - blue mirror thingie
.
.
on expert - golden skull
(hint - if you have trouble with this one, try being invisible when you pickup the skull - apple of unseeing:thumb: It's cool to watch the big boys fight it out!)

I'm not sure what two of the fruits do: the cabbage of rejection and the cucumber of relaxation:confused:
yandros on 4/2/2003 at 19:35
Not sure, but I believe the cabbage KO's Garrett a la gas arrow. Not good.

HOLY CRAP! THOSE SPIDERS ARE NUTS! Really, attack them!
And there is a secret panel on the upper floor that allows you to spawn most normal enemies at the touch of a button! WHOO HAH!
This mission is... just awesome. I hope the author will tweak it, after the contest, a bit to add more stuff to the aforementioned spoiler and make the signs easier to read next to the spawn crystals. PLEASE DO! I LOVE YOU AUTHOR, WHOEVER YOU ARE!
By the way, the torches upstairs are frobbable. What do they do?

If you check in Dromed, the cabbage is just an icebomb with a new model. (the Ice Bomb is a nifty new flashbomb-like tool that comes with dromed deluxe - you toss it at an enemy and they freeze for a few seconds! Seems to work especially well against fire-types. They don't have any effect on Garrett, but the cloud can obscure your vision especially in tight corridors) The big cucumber thingies are firebombs (Fire Bombs are another Rob Hicks creation - according to the DEDx readme they make searing sparks for 30 seconds. For me, they seem to make a patch of fire that explodes after a few seconds - kind of like a delayed detonation grenade! Just don't stick around too close if you drop one:ebil: ) I just love raining these down on the monsters in the pit - Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide!
I'll have to snag the updated version to see if that helps, but I couldn't finish the mission as it would crash my system. Ton's 'o fun though as everyone's noted.
One thing that occurred on my very first playing though but didn't repeat was shortly after climbing the vine to the upper room, I was standing next to the wall under the skylight just taking it all in, suddenly a chest crashes thru the skylight and lands by my feet. I opened it up and it was 10 Acid arrows. I didn't save and restarted to see if I could find what triggered that and it never happened again.
ANyone else see this?
