I always wondered about inconsistencies with the way the manors in the thief series were constructed (Constantines mansion aside), such as their being virtually no bathrooms in most of them. Then while I was sneaking through Ramirez's place I noticed the rather odd placement of blue vases next to the three beds upstairs, when suddenly it hit me: they use chamber pots! Just goes to show how little some people appreciate modern technology (okay, so the Romans had them as well). Either way I'm not touching anybodies blue vases again... unless I get to throw it at a passing guard :sly:

If you are right, then the contents hitting a guard may have a healing effect on him (they say it heals).... I wouldn't do that :cheeky:

I remember bathrooms in several of them. Thief 2, maybe, I can't remember just now.

Yes, but only some:
-Bafords has a bathtub,
-Ramirez has a tub as well,
-The Haunted Catherdral has a toilet (in the basement).
-Lady Rumpford has a bath AND a toilet.
And thats about all I can think of.

Too bad they didn't use the 3 seashell method in Angelwatch.

There are cubicles in Casing the Joint/Masks, which are empty so I just assume they are used as change rooms, but there are basins and things, close enough...

imagine all the citys residents standing in line for these 4 bathrooms. No privacy for the nobles and haunts.

Ramirez could just walk out into the balcony and pee into his little moat-thing
