Is it possible in any way to import the DP, or TGold levels into MA? You see, howsoever I try, I can't get Gold run on my PC - I've tried everything. Once upon a time Gold did run, but then suddenly it refused and ever since I'm deprived of The Sword :nono::mad::grr:
So can it be done?

It is possible, but requires quite a bit of work in Dromed, and is also unfortunately illegal.

I never really understood how everyone shouts "ILLEGAL!" at porting missions from TDP to TMA, but, say, porting TMA textures to TDP never gets the same kind of treatment.

I guess they're both illegal, but I imagine most people don't feel that transferring a few textures is as bad as translating an entire gameplay experience along with all the resources to a different game.

The difference is the former allows someone to play a TG mission without owning the game. Simply porting resources from one to the other isn't the same. Whether or not it's also strictly illegal, I don't know.

Edited as well.

Dude, if you want to do it, then go right ahead, but it is illegal and public support will most probably be absolute 0. I doubt that anyone will actually prosecute you but I wouldn't go bragging about it anyway.

Just a reminder, you rebel-types.
These forums are being read.
Public discussion is gonna get you flamed.:sly:
This question has been asked a hundred times, anyway. And after all these years and a hundred requests later, do you see the games ported over? Maybe a mission here and there, but it's highly unlikely that anyone would complete a port of a whole game.

I was just asking in good faith, mixed possibly with despaired hope. :(

Herr_Garrett, if you own both the licenses, there's no law pursues, since you are the owner of the game.
