I haven't tried much beyond making sure the FM is in the correct TG FM directory. I've been thinking about switching to FMSel anyhow.

If you look at any recent Thief Gold FM, you'll see directions on how to fix your problem in the readme. It involves editing darkloader.ini and changing the mission type. But yeah, last year I switched FMSel for good and didn't look back.

Most people would ask why I also use Thief Gold, instead of Thief II. Maybe I just don't take myself too seriously.

We don't know yet. Since I released the mission and nobody complained, it's almost sure that it's really her installation.
She says that many complicated missions play fine, but these missions come with a lot of custom textures, so perhaps we do have a screwed \fam folder.

The question to ask her would be if she gets all blue textures with OMs, then for sure she's got a problem finding the fam.crf file, or it's corrupted.
I asked about NewDark because the new Dromed is just so, so much better than the old one. Much more stable, lots of better features, and the upgraded engine allows for 32bit lightmaps, higher res textures, more polys in view, the list goes on and on....

Do we have NewDark for Thief Gold, as well as that new DromEd? It's just ... I love Old Thief much more...
