You can make Thief 2 missions in the style of Thief Gold. Just don't use colored lighting, use Thief Gold assets and boom! Classic Thief Gold mission in Thief 2.

NewDark does run T1/G missions, and you can of course use Dromed to make it, and like R_T said, why would you want to use OldDark when all the resources are there to make it like T1?

Aaaaah you caught me ;) Im a lazy taffer, that's why I stick to to old software.
But the truth is, I have some sentimental feelings towards Thief 1/Gold. And when I saw mission statistics for 2014, people wondered that there are still missions for Old Thief (one of them is actually mine).
I'm glad that we won't have 2015 without missions for Thief 1/G, and it will be partially due to me...

But.... you could have made your T1/G mission with NewDark and enjoyed its benefits. You didn't have to use OldDark to make a T1/G mission - that's my point. And in fact every other T1/G mission released in the last two years was also made with NewDark.
