I'm playing Down into the bonehoard, just feel strange that a patrolling Burrick don't attack me.
I'm at the red arrow sign, you know it right? And a Burrick patrol there. I attempted the rope for a good while and the Burrick passed by many times without any attention.
And, yeah, Burricks are somehow cute. But...well...can it be blackjacked?

Why didn't you just take the 5 seconds to find out yourself, instead of sitting around twiddling your thumbs waiting for someone to tell you? :tsktsk:

lol, that was harsh but bloody true. Even if burricks couldn't be blackjacked, it would still be quicker to give one a test whack and quickload. :laff:
Anyway, certain burricks won't attack you because they are soothed by the lovely sounds of the horn of quintus. Once you steal it, they get mad.

It takes me more than 5 seconds....
I have to reload many times just to blackjack a Burrick:tsktsk:

I don't mean those near the horn, they just stand still. But the one I met is in the Burrick cave, and quite a long way to the horn...

hmm, not sure. I usually just ignore the burricks and run past em, so maybe there's the odd docile one here and there.

I'm almost certain I've blackjacked Burricks before, but it was difficult and it is possible that it was a FM or something with special metaproperties...:cheeky:
Its also possible that it turned around and got me, too...

It's not hard to blackjack 'em but once they've been agitated, you can't do it again. At least with guards, they'll go back to patrol & you can KO them later. Burricks though, you get that one chance. Another option is to kill them. It takes a few sword whacks but it's not hard to evade their gas balls.

You can blackjack frogbeasts, too. It's actually very easy. As long as they stand still.
The blackjack did'nt work for me on spiders, though, nor on anything undead. What creatures have I missed?
fibanocci on 19/6/2006 at 16:37
You can blackjack spiders easily

Where to hit them?
