Well, I never thought I'd be doing this, but here I am. I looked at my little FM on the 23rd of December, and thought to myself -- “hey, all I have is lighting, some objects, and the air brushes, and I haven't touched DromEd in months. Hell, why don't I release this thing on Christmas?”
Obviously that didn't work out, but for a spur of the moment thing, it didn't turn out too bad. My sleep suffered, but the FM didn't. It's now available at (
http://thiefmissions.com/info.cgi?m=AShoppingStopover) thiefmissions.com. It's 2.38 megabytes, roughly 20 minutes long, and my first FM, but hopefully you'll have fun with it. :) This is the prologue to a larger mission, which I haven't started yet. If you guys are interested in it, let me know, and I'll get started on it.
Happy taffing! :thumb:

Nice one... I'm looking forward to playing the final version.
Is this the first FM of the year 2006?
Have you started working on your next mission already? ;)
Now go get some sleep.

Excellent!
I need help though... I can't find the key to unlock the metal door next to where i find my weapons or the door right at the top of the building though i have unlocked the other doors. a clue?

@shadows:
Look closely around where you find the deceased Lord
@all: using a German copy of Thief, the original starts after the loadout. I solved that issue by copying "missflag.str" from the "strings\english" folder into the "strings\german" one.

Congrats, TNT! Not bad at all as a first level, especially for a ham sandwich! :thumb:

A very fun mission. Great job for a first release! I know the mission was supposed to be laid back but I got caught twice and ended up running around alerting every guard in the manor, until finally I used the
burricks to eat them. Hooray for Burricks!
...Don't sleep! Sleep is from the weak (I forget who said that...). I would love to see the next mission you have planned!
