Dear forumers,
I come to you with a plea. I am asking as many of you as possible to support (
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=98783215&searchtext=WRC) WRC 3 Rally Championship on Steam's Greenlight.
I am asking this because the rallying content offered on Steam has been horrible for years. The lack of older Colin McRae titles or Richard Burns Rally, coupled with the cavalcade of DiRT games masquerading as rally games is not helping the situation.
But hark! A new challenger appears, and it needs your help! I played all 3 of the WRC games and must say that WRC 3 is, at last, actually visually competent, even if not superb, its handling is right in the sweet spot between arcade and OH GOD RICHARD BURNS RALLY, and features plenty of official, licensed content which is always nice (see - XPand Rally).
Please, give your thumbs up for (
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=98783215&searchtext=WRC) WRC 3, favorite it, link it, share it and help Steam actually get a decent rally game in its catalog!
Accept my humble thanks in advance and a good day to you all!

Done. The only rally game I've played in recent times is RBR, which I enjoyed a lot. Hope WRC3 makes it onto Steam, it looks good.

I've already voted for it, and I'd vote for it about 500 more times if possible. Everything I've seen of actual gameplay (mostly via SimRacingTonight) indicates it would sit alongside Rally Championship 2000, Richard Burns Rally, and DiRT 1 as the only rally games worth a damn. If this gets on Steam I will buy it day 1.
Edit: Here's a link to SRT's preview: (

This looks very very good.

At first I thought this was gonna be another generic spam post like that tactical Unreal mod dude a while back, but find myself pleasently surprised.
I never cared for racers, especially not rally... until I played Dirt and lost a few good nights to it. Watching the screenies and the trailer brought back those fond memories and god damn, I'd love to play this. Liked! Good luck!

Done.

Looking at videos of that just makes me wish a new Motocross Madness game would come out instead. Since they stopped making those the only good open world dirtbiking games have been the GTAs. :erg:
edit: A CHALLENGER APPEARS? I had a look around the net and found MX Simulator. Looks (
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UOyWLs-UDaA&feature=related) pretty good. I downloaded the demo. Graphics aren't too impressive but the physics are good. Sadly it appears all the racing is confined to tracks though. Hmm, well at least it's a step up from those dreadful MX vs ATV games.
