First, I must say, you have a wonderous atmosphere here. A few weeks ago, I was contacted by a member of yours who has been frequenting this site. The member in question is also a member of (
http://www.rpg-chronicles.com) http://www.rpg-chronicles.com, a web hosting and RPG publishing company. I was told that there was extreme interest in a Thief post by post RPG.
After discussion with my staff, we have decided that considering the following of the genre, it is well worth the effort. Therefore we will create an RPG board, but we wished to sk experienced members who live this setting day in and day out for assistance.
We would like to ask for potential owners, admins, mods, designers, or whatever would be necessary to make this site a success. Here is the link for the discussion of this topic, (

Please, if you are interested, contact me via email at alexander@aherofalls.com or on AOL IM at jeanxxclaude
I hope to hear from you soon. Thanks for your time.

A "web-hosting" and "RPG publishing" company? That's a very interesting combination. How does that come to be? (I already checked the FAQ section of your site and just found general posting info)

We host RPGs of any genre, much like ezboard. But, we do create original settings which we are in the process of organizing into RPG setting guides to be published. Still a long ways from that being a reality, but at this time, our horror genre is the main focus.
There is nothing on the site about our publishing aims, as we are in the process of receiving a makeover, so that the main page becomes a portal of information to advertise such things.
Thus far the revenue we get from hosting RPG sites is being saved to incur the costs of publication. I hope in the next six months to a year to have at least one setting guide completed and ready for unveiling.

Thanks for the support guys. I have already been contacted by 3 members of this site. I will be updating this thread as we create the Thief RPG. Should take a few weeks at the least. I will post link here when I have them.

What do you mean by "post by post RPG"?
ZylonBane on 19/1/2006 at 21:31
Think of it as LARPing for people too lazy to leave the house.
Yeah, it's that sad.

its hardly like that, and i do leave the house. I have a wireless laptop. Its more like writing a fanfic. You design a premise, setting, etc, and you create characters. No different from any other form of RPG, except we have in depth posts, not chat based posts.
(
http://www.rpg-chronicles.com/thefallen/index.php?showtopic=57) thats an example from an old site we hosted. we do not write sentences, we write paragraphs. sometimes too much. but its fun and challenging. hardly sad.

Oh, what Zylon said then (not the sad bit). Not for me.

It seems as if this RPG will be set post Thief III. They are hammering out the details now in the linked thread I have provided.
