Hi folks,
Kept asking myself what could be the scariest, most frightening colour in missions? my personal bet is that a cold, blewish combination will make the deal. But, after playing Yandros's WLB, I really think that almost the black/white choice is very wise.
So lets see, mix'em palletes taffers :thumb:

Consult Edgar Allan Poe's "The Masque Of The Red Death"....
The seventh room
Dark with red light
Quote:
in the western or black chamber the effect of the fire-light that streamed upon the dark hangings through the blood-tinted panes

The scariest is the one that fits the mood most:
Red is good for intimacy and shock
Blue for distance and coldness
Green for creepy and otherworldly
Black/White for impassive detachment
Orange can be good in contrast - a warm friendly setting with something horrific in it (See Undying for some good use of that)
Purples give good on messed up may/not be real
....
It's just what kind of scary are you aiming for?
