I still cannot shake this off my head :( without wondering what could have come to surface if LGS had enough time to finish up and ship out their Thief 2 Gold before the closing of doors ordeal.
I came to wonder if the Thief 2 Gold the fan project is still indefinitely halted (abandoned and up for grabs) or if its still a work in progress but just kept deep in the shadows?
Wondering because on the Thief 2 gold from thiefmission site, last news were from 2007 and some hyperlinks just redirects me to error pages about 404 not found, would have expected news to reflect its current state and if there are any I just cannot find it. :erg:

There was an FM that came out based on one of the originals, I think it's called "The College". Aside from that, there doesn't seem to be much interest in the community for reviving this. I personally would have loved to have at least the "Waking the Dead" mission.

Well, you will have a mission called "Waking The Dead" some day, just not that one. It's mission #7 in Death's Cold Embrace. :D

Nice to hear about some form of Waking the dead inspiration which to me also was something I found particularly interesting as a bit of Book of the Ash fan here, I will have to download that colleague one think I seen that fan mission somewhere for grabs.
A bit shame otherwise, wish I'd knew a whole lot about DromEd skills to take on it myself.

Originally it was 1, then 2, then 4. Then in 2008 we rewrote the story from scratch and it became 9. And recently... it became 10. :eww:
