Sarcasm
Hard to get across in posts I guess. Course they'll be remembered. I've only played the PC version of the first Halo, but that was pretty fun.
Aye I gotta agree. Even as a PC gamer, I genuinely liked Halo and thought it was a very well designed and enjoyable FPS. It does not surprise me it swooped the console market.
(except for the library level. fuck that shit to all hell).

Agreed, Halo had a couple of chapters with repetetive level design, but the gameplay was very solid and enjoyable. I had fun with it.

I liked the Library level. It was basically just a shooting gallery, which wasn't such a bad diversion when the surrounding levels all required strategy.

Halo's strategy was 'strafe to wall while your shield recharges, then pop out, throw a grenade and fire'. I'm not saying that to disparage it, it was fun, but I'd hardly say it was a demanding FPS in terms of dealing with your opponents. The elite were fun to take on whenever they came up.
Plus, they have the tendency to drop exactly two grenades between their legs when they die, for some reason.

Fun fact: their top 30 doesn't have any of my top 30 games.

What about your (

Favslist is the successor or unikGamer that was all about games.
On Favslist, you can (

It's been probably ten years since I've played it, but I remember the enemies being quite challenging on the higher difficulties, having to watch my back a lot because they'd always circle round, sometimes from different directions at once.
